Position Summary
Organize, verify, process, and execute check-in/check-out for all guests, room reservations, requests, modifications, and cancellations. Ensure payments; verify and reconcile invoices. Activate and file room keys. Handle all guest requests and deliver messages. Print a list of all guests in preparation for emergencies. Explain room features to guests and provide information and guidance regarding property amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions. Follow up on and resolve unresolved requests or issues from the previous day. Prepare and verify daily reports. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Receive, record, and forward wake-up call requests to the appropriate department. Count and secure the bank at the beginning and end of each shift. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid vouchers, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous expenses, and prepare change. Notify Loss Prevention/Security if guests report theft.
Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and express appreciation to all guests in accordance with company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build and maintain positive relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
