We are seeking a Quality, Environment and Safety Technician for Alcochete, whose mission will be to ensure compliance with the SAICA Group’s policies and procedures in the areas of quality, environment, and safety. Your key responsibilities include: * Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in QHSE matters, conducting annual compliance reviews; * Coordinating workplace risk assessments, ensuring all workstations and equipment are assessed according to applicable regulations and overseeing the Action Plan; * Monitoring and evaluating corrective, preventive, and improvement actions, and identifying non-conformities; * Promoting awareness and preservation of the environment, hazards, and risks; * Coordinating annual medical examinations and periodically reviewing health surveillance protocols; * Ensuring adequate and appropriate QHSE training for all personnel under your responsibility, in accordance with SAICA’s training procedure, while safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of such training; * Analyzing occupational incidents and accidents, preparing reports, implementing corrective measures, and maintaining statistics; * Ensuring the management system documentation remains up to date, promoting periodic reviews by respective responsible parties. **Requirements:** ----------------- What we value for this role: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences; * Valid Occupational Safety Technician CAP certification (mandatory requirement); * Trainer CCP/CAP certification—preferred qualification; * Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, waste management, and licensing procedures; * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within industrial environments; * Team spirit and dynamism; * Decision-making ability and autonomy; * Customer orientation; * Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills; * Residence near Alcochete; * Immediate availability
