As Architects of Change™, we align our clients’ strategic vision with our technological expertise across key industry drivers (such as: Cybersecurity, Managed Digital Fabric, Data & AI, Connectivity, Digital Workplace, Cloud), and address their priorities—including operational efficiency, innovation, risk/compliance, and data governance. **Job Description** ----------------------- To strengthen the Logicalis Portugal team, we are looking for a candidate to assume the role of Tech Lead – Software & AI **.** This position is responsible for defining the technical vision and platform roadmap for software and artificial intelligence applications, promoting collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, with the objective of delivering scalable, secure, and measurable solutions—while upholding principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. **Required Skills and Experience** ----------------------------------------- * Experience managing backend, frontend, AI/ML, and integration engineering, ensuring quality, security, and alignment with business objectives; * Ability to design and validate scalable architectures, including CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and foundational SRE; * Hands-on experience evolving software platforms—including contact centers and LLM agents (RAG, prompt orchestration, and tooling)—with emphasis on compliance and data governance; * Experience with enterprise integrations involving ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), CRMs, and legacy systems—including data mapping and transformation; * Knowledge of code review, architectural patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and application security—with ability to train and mentor teams; * Ability to align product, design, and operations—prioritizing backlog, continuous discovery, and validation with internal customers; * Experience managing technical budgets, cloud costs, and team capacity to support strategic decisions (build vs. buy); * Proficiency in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI), applying security, performance, and automated testing practices; * Experience in frontend development with React and Angular—including componentization, state management, and continuous integration; * Solid knowledge of Cloud & DevOps—including Docker or Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure preferred); * Experience with relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis—including modeling, caching, and operational resilience; * Knowledge of API-based integrations (REST APIs, webhooks, message queues), and experience with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi; * Advanced application security practices—including Spring Security, secret management, IAM, and hardening of exposed services. **Additional Details** ------------------- * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; * Good interpersonal skills and technical leadership capability; * Proficiency in English (spoken and written). *If you value collaborative environments, technological challenges, and real-world impact through innovation, this is an opportunity to lead with purpose and contribute to the development of intelligent and inclusive solutions.
