Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage the technical and operational maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring its safety and compliance, and coordinating teams and suppliers. Our client is a company specialized in the **Rental and Commercialization of Lifting Equipment** for the Civil Construction, Industrial, and Public Works sectors, providing high-quality technical solutions through an extensive range of tower cranes, construction hoists, and other lifting equipment. In the context of growth and reinforcement of its technical structure, they aim to recruit a **Mechanical Engineer** to assume responsibility for the technical and operational management of the company’s lifting equipment, located in **Samora Correia**. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment. * Ensure the operability, reliability, and safety of lifting equipment. * Identify and implement technical improvements, modifications, and optimization actions for equipment. * Coordinate maintenance and site teams, ensuring adherence to equipment preparation and delivery deadlines. * Manage equipment and component registration and control within internal management systems. * Ensure inventory management of spare parts, consumables, and materials required for interventions. * Develop and maintain up-to-date all technical and legal documentation associated with equipment. * Ensure equipment compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and normative requirements. * Manage relationships with suppliers and technical partners. * Provide specialized technical support to customers, either on-site or remotely. * Conduct technical site visits for monitoring, analysis, and resolution of incidents. * Ensure correct issuance and validation of documentation related to equipment dispatch. **Profile** * **Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering**. * Relevant professional experience in industrial maintenance, lifting equipment, construction equipment, or heavy industrial equipment. * **Solid knowledge of mechanics**, hydraulics, electricity, and electromechanical systems. * Ability to interpret technical documentation and applicable regulations. * Good knowledge of computer tools, particularly Excel and management software. * Experience in customer interaction and on-site technical support will be valued. * **Driver’s license**. * Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to results. * Ability to lead closely and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. * Strong orientation toward planning, organization, and deadline adherence. * Ability to make decisions in operational contexts and resolve technical problems. * Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to identify improvement opportunities. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both with internal teams and with customers and suppliers. * Mature, pragmatic profile oriented toward operationalizing solutions. * Rigor, attention to detail, and focus on safety. **Offer** * Integration into a solid and growing company. * Participation in reference projects in the Civil Construction, Industrial, and Public Works sectors. * Compensation commensurate with demonstrated experience.
