As part of strengthening our team in Lisbon, we aim to recruit a Quality and Food Safety Technician (m/f) to support the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and ensure compliance with the Food Safety Management System according to ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and HACCP methodology * Monitor implementation of HACCP Plans, including control and verification of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Prerequisite Programs (PRPs) * Conduct internal food safety audits and hygiene-sanitary inspections of production areas * Monitor microbiological and physicochemical analyses, ensuring compliance with defined food safety criteria * Monitor operational records, including temperature control, weight control, verification of cleaning procedures, and equipment calibration * Conduct traceability exercises and simulations of product recall/withdrawal, ensuring the effectiveness of the management system * Support the implementation and monitoring of Food Defense measures, contributing to the prevention of intentional adulteration or contamination * Promote and reinforce Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) among operational teams * Collaborate in external audits, certifications, and inspections by official authorities Required Profile * Higher education degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition Sciences, Quality, or related field * Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety, and Food Defense * Organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail * Dynamic and operationally oriented profile, with ease of interaction with production teams * Proficiency in Excel and other computer tools * Good command of English * Immediate availability We Offer * Integration into a solid and growing international group * Opportunity for professional development in the field of Quality and Food Safety * Continuous training and exposure to international food safety management standards Application * Send your updated CV to: m.cardoso@newrest.eu Type of position: Full-time Salary: €1,300.00 – €1,600.00 per month
