Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Technician with solid PHC expertise to implement, configure, and support solutions, optimize business processes, and provide internal IT support. Key Highlights: 1. The Baixo Ave Business Association (AEBA) is a private non-profit association founded on April 12, 2000. Currently, it has over 600 member companies, primarily located in the municipalities of Trofa, Santo Tirso, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Maia, and Vila do Conde. AEBA’s mission is to efficiently and courteously deliver comprehensive, integrated support services to businesses—meeting both individual company needs and regional requirements. In line with this support-oriented approach and solution delivery, AEBA is assisting a company headquartered in Trofa (Porto) that is recruiting an **IT Technician** with the following profile: Solid PHC knowledge with strong technical focus and process orientation, responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting PHC solutions—ensuring optimization of our clients’ business processes. Concurrently, the role includes providing internal IT support to the organization. ***Main Responsibilities:*** * Implementation, configuration, and parameterization of PHC modules (Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Inventory, etc.). * Development of customizations using PHC Script, creation of reports and SQL queries; integration with other systems where applicable. * Requirements gathering and analysis; solution design and proposals for process improvement. * User training, capacity building, and support; production of user guides and documentation. * Evolutionary and corrective maintenance of PHC instances; version upgrades and regression testing. * Incident diagnosis and resolution (levels 1/2/3) and performance monitoring. * Collaboration with internal teams to ensure stable integrations (e.g., APIs, e-commerce, electronic invoicing). * General IT support: networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and productivity tools. ***Mandatory Requirements:*** * Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field. * Proven experience with PHC software (implementation and/or support). * Strong knowledge of PHC Script, SQL, and databases. * Analytical skills and high problem-solving ability. * Excellent communication and user training skills. ***Preferred Qualifications:*** * PHC certification — will be valued. * Experience with PHC CS and/or PHC GO. * Knowledge of networking, Active Directory, security, and remote support tools. * Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and willingness to use AI tools. * Understanding of business processes (management, accounting, logistics) and functional ERP perspective. * Willingness to undertake occasional travel. * Intermediate or higher English proficiency. ***Offered Conditions:*** − Competitive salary commensurate with responsibilities and demonstrated experience − Meal allowance: €10.20/day via Coverflex card − Working hours: 09:00–12:30 / 14:00–18:30 − Employee benefits plan, including continuous training, career development, and other incentives − Performance bonuses − Additional holiday day (employee’s birthday) − Integration into a young and dynamic team with strong presence in the national market To apply, please send your updated CV to recrutamento@aeba.pt, indicating “Application – IT Technician” in the email subject line.
