Job Summary: The Technical Superintendent will be responsible for the comprehensive technical management of vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in accordance with regulations, and coordinating crews and partners. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive technical management of vessels with a focus on safety and efficiency. 2. Planning and supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance. 3. Coordination and technical support to crews and partners. As Technical Superintendent, your main responsibilities will include: Ensuring comprehensive technical management of vessels under responsibility, guaranteeing safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant operations (ISM, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS) and adherence to S\&C internal standards. Planning, supervising, and controlling all preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including dry-docking, repairs, and classification inspections, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and technical quality of services performed; Managing the technical and operational performance of vessels by monitoring KPIs related to consumption, availability, incidents, and equipment performance, and proposing continuous improvements aimed at reliability and sustainability; Coordinating and supporting crews and masters on technical and safety matters, acting as the liaison between the fleet, suppliers, shipyards, classification societies, and company management. **To assume this role, you must have:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Machinery Engineering, Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; Minimum 5 years’ experience in maritime machinery and systems maintenance, shipyards, or manufacturing units; Strong leadership, communication, organization, planning, dynamism, and analytical skills; Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office 365 (especially MS Project); Knowledge of AMOS and/or ManWinWin systems; Fluency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
