We seek someone with technical engineering knowledge, expertise in HVAC equipment, electrical installations, water treatment plants (WTP) and/or wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), strong negotiation skills, and a results-oriented mindset—supporting the construction and maintenance team while ensuring effective project management and strategic supplier development. **Responsibilities \- Your Mission** * **Procurement Process Management:** Manage the entire procurement process—from preparing technical specifications, negotiating terms, and comparing proposals to monitoring assigned initiatives; * **Contractual Management:** Apply framework agreements to optimize contract awarding and issue purchase orders to suppliers; * **Supplier Development:** Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers, maintaining up-to-date market knowledge and cost structure awareness; * **Group Support:** Provide support to Veolia Group companies across all aspects of procurement activities; * **Continuous Improvement:** Analyze continuous improvement opportunities and assess the cost-benefit of new technological solutions; * **Document Management:** Ensure proper recording and archiving of all documentation related to procurement processes. **Qualifications** ----------------- **Academic Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or similar) or Procurement Management; **Technical Competencies:** * Experience in technical procurement, construction, and acquisition of equipment and materials for specialized installations; * Knowledge of technical specifications for HVAC equipment; * Familiarity with electrical materials and equipment; * Understanding of water treatment processes; * Knowledge of sector-specific specialized suppliers; * Proficiency in IT tools. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills; * Results-oriented mindset, with technical rigor and attention to detail; * Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks; * Analytical and strategic mindset. **Additional Information** ------------------------ **What We Offer:** * Full-time employment; * Integration into a leading company in environmental services and resource management; * Challenging technical and commercial projects; * A dynamic and collaborative work environment; * Continuous training; * Professional development and career progression opportunities. **Location:** Headquarters \- Paço de Arcos **Contract Type:** Permanent **Become an Agent of Ecological Transformation!
