Responsibility for vehicle maintenance and proper functioning **Offer Code:**OE202607/0603 **Offer Type:**Standard Competitive Recruitment Procedure **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Municipal Councils **Agency/Service:**Castelo de Paiva Municipal Council **Employment Contract:**Indefinite-term Public Employment Contract (CTFP) **Work Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Operational Assistant **Category:**Operational Assistant **Complexity Level:**1 **Remuneration:**Negotiable, with reference to the 1st Pay Rate (P.R.) of the category, Level 5 of the TRU, currently €934.99. **Monthly Supplement:**€0.00 **Job Description:**Heavy Vehicle Driver: Drives trucks and other heavy motor vehicles for transporting goods and materials; Informs oneself of the destination of goods, determines the route to be taken, and receives the respective documentation; Directs and, where necessary, participates in loading, stowing, and unloading operations to ensure safety conditions and respect the vehicle’s load limit; Performs necessary maneuvers and light signals for traffic, considering road and vehicle conditions, weather and traffic conditions, cargo being transported, and traffic rules and signs; Delivers goods and related documentation at the destination and obtains proof of delivery; Ensures the vehicle remains in good working condition by checking oil and water levels daily, maintaining, repairing, and cleaning the vehicle; Prepares routine reports on trips undertaken.
