Opportunities to take initiative and reach your full potential What will your role as Trial Coordinator at Rijk Zwaan be? As Trial Coordinator, you will play an essential role in developing a trial network for selection, adaptation, and pre\-commercial trials together with Rijk Zwaan’s breeders and commercial partners. The Trial Coordinator is responsible for organizing external trials to obtain qualitative and quantitative data required to provide technical support to sales and research teams, for new variety introductions and research project support. Additionally, responsibilities include: * Planning and executing trials; * Performing sowing and transplanting tasks; * Visiting or organizing regular visits to trial sites; * Reporting trial activities to the Sales Manager\/General Manager and Crop Specialist; * Monitoring new market developments; * Preparing an annual trial plan and trial budget; * Gaining detailed market knowledge for all crops developed; * Maintaining close contact with commercial technicians, crop specialists, and crop coordinators for full trial coordination. Your contribution: You are well-organized, proactive, and practical, with perseverance and problem-solving orientation. You possess strong communication skills and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, your CV should include the following: * A completed bachelor’s or university degree in agriculture\/horticulture; * At least 3 years of relevant professional experience and knowledge of horticultural crops; * Knowledge and experience in cultivating and evaluating horticultural varieties.
