TP-Link Archer C3150 Router -Router with just over one year of use, still under warranty, purchased from a computer store in Setúbal for approximately 210 euros. -Dual Band (2.4 and/or 5 GHz) -USB 3.0 port to connect an external hard drive -Extended network coverage -Allows scheduling Wi-Fi operation hours -Physical Wi-Fi on/off button -VPN server: enables traffic encryption and hides IP address and location -Bridge mode: allows hiding the ISP-provided router from the network -Whitelist and blacklist for devices: enables specifying which devices are authorized to connect to the network and/or which are prohibited -Beamforming: adapts signal range based on the location of internet-connected devices. For example, if a computer is in the living room, the living room area receives stronger Wi-Fi signal than the kitchen, where no internet-connected device is present. -MU-MIMO: allows one user to consume intensive internet bandwidth without degrading the experience of other users simultaneously using the internet. The router has never had, and currently has, no issues. I am selling it because there is another router on the market that I want to try. Why do you need a second router? 1. To extend internet coverage. 2. Because the router allows scheduling Wi-Fi operation hours. We are constantly bombarded with Wi-Fi signals every day, around the clock. It is very easy to program the router to disable Wi-Fi overnight. 3. By adding a VPN server, all traffic from all devices becomes encrypted, hiding both the physical location and IP addresses of those devices. 4. Enhanced security: a TP-Link router is preferable to an ISP-provided router.
