**Mission**

Responsible for promoting awareness and implementation of general prevention principles concerning workplace safety, hygiene, and health, in accordance with established policies, standards, regulations, and programs, aiming to prevent agreed-upon occupational risks through technically systematic and competent methodologies ensuring legal compliance.
Also aims to jointly establish, with occupational medicine, preventive and control strategies for major occupational injuries and diseases likely to occur or manifest among workers engaged in the organization’s economic activities, thereby promoting appropriate working conditions and processes, and acting in line with the Group’s ethics and Casais values.
**Main Responsibilities**

* Promotes and evaluates compliance with the Safety and Health Plan or Safety Procedure Sheets on construction projects involving higher technical complexity, considering construction process specifications, human and technical resources (equipment and materials), affected services, and existing constraints; conducts site inspections and, if necessary, proposes corrective/mitigative measures for identified anomalies that endanger workers’ physical integrity
* Analyzes and verifies OSH prerequisites related to the setup and operation of construction sites (surrounding environment, affected services, project constraints, and third-party protection)
* Analyzes and assesses activity-related risks from a prevention perspective, considering involved means and/or technologies, supporting, if required, the development of standards or recommendations for their execution, operation, or use. Timely provides applicable preventive and protective measures during construction activities, specifying collective protective equipment (CPE) and personal protective equipment (PPE) to improve safety conditions at workplaces, and monitors their implementation
* Trains, informs, and raises awareness among workers regarding profession-specific risks and current OSH regulations, supplying necessary preventive materials
* Enforces disciplinary actions against workers on site who violate OSH rules, per the integrated accountability plan
* Investigates causes and circumstances of incidents and/or occupational accidents, explicitly stating actual or probable causes, and recommends necessary measures to prevent recurrence
* Represents the company on OSH matters before inspections, clients, and regulatory bodies, taking precedence over OSH Supervisors
