Job Summary: Mafraria is seeking a Pastry Assistant to support the preparation and production of traditional Portuguese pastries, ensuring quality and hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. Mafraria is a company dedicated to producing traditional Portuguese pastries, renowned for the quality of its products—especially the pastel de nata. We are looking for a Pastry Assistant to join our production team. **Main Responsibilities:** * Support the preparation and production of traditional pastry products. * Assist in the production and handling of puff pastry and brioche dough. * Prepare, weigh, and organize raw materials according to technical specifications. * Collaborate in laminating, folding, and preparing puff pastry for manufacturing pastéis de nata and other products. * Support the production of the company’s other specialties. * Operate production equipment under the supervision of the section supervisor. * Ensure product quality and consistency. * Strictly comply with hygiene, food safety, and facility cleaning standards. * Participate in organizing and cleaning equipment and the workplace. **Required Profile:** * Experience in pastry or bakery (preferred). * Knowledge of puff pastry and/or brioche dough preparation will be valued. * Sense of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Dynamism, punctuality, and willingness to learn. * Availability to work in a food production environment.
