To ensure our dishes continue to be served perfectly and on time, we seek a dynamic Kitchen Assistant with positive energy and passion for the rhythm of restaurant operations. If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen and wish to learn or grow within Alentejo cuisine, we want to meet you! Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with ingredient preparation (washing, cutting, and chopping vegetables, meats, fish, and aromatic herbs). Supporting chefs during dish cooking and plating service. Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work surfaces and kitchen utensils. Monitoring stock rotation and assisting with proper storage of goods. Maintaining a spirit of mutual support with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during peak hours. What we’re looking for: Prior experience in this role is valued. Appreciation for traditional cuisine and eagerness to learn. Agility, speed, and strong organizational skills under pressure. Sense of responsibility, punctuality, and strong teamwork spirit. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP). Availability (Full-Time or Part-Time).
