Opportunity for technical development and professional growth **Nortempo Seleção** is currently recruiting an **Automation Technician** for direct integration with a prestigious industrial client, in a key role essential to ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and technological advancement of production equipment. **Setúbal** #### **Your Responsibilities** * Diagnose and resolve faults in machines and installations at the automation and control level; * Perform periodic inspections and ensure proper operation of equipment; * Carry out low- and medium-complexity electrical repairs; * Program, parameterize, and perform adjustments on automation systems; * Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in process optimization projects; * Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance plans; * Record interventions and material consumption in technical reports; * Ensure correct use, cleaning, and maintenance of tools and work areas. #### **Candidate Profile** * Technical-Professional qualification in Automation, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related field (Level IV or V); * Experience in Siemens PLC programming; * Knowledge of industrial electricity, pneumatics, and instrumentation; * Experience with HMI operator consoles and supervision and data acquisition systems; * Knowledge of industrial networks, notably Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or similar; * Analytical and problem-solving skills; * Attention to detail and sense of responsibility. #### **Additional Assets** * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; * Experience in an industrial environment; * Initiative and orientation toward continuous improvement; * Teamwork skills. #### **What We Offer** * Direct contract with the client; * Integration into a solid and technologically advanced company; * Participation in automation and continuous improvement projects; * Opportunity for technical development and professional growth; * Salary: €25,200 gross annual \+ meal allowance of €9.5/day paid via card.
