Job Summary: We are seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join our housekeeping/cleaning team, responsible for cleaning and organizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure welcoming spaces for guests. Requires responsibility, attention to detail, and teamwork We are an estate located in the Sesimbra forest, featuring a small hotel (10 rooms) plus 3 houses (16 rooms), opening this year. We are seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join our housekeeping/cleaning team. Main responsibilities include: Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Changing bed linens and towels, ensuring proper restocking Restocking amenities and other necessary supplies Ensuring all spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming Reporting malfunctions, damages, or supply shortages Assisting with inventory management of cleaning supplies and amenities Complying with hygiene, safety, and quality standards Assisting with laundry tasks when required Preparing houses for guest arrivals and ensuring efficient turnovers Requirements Previous experience in similar roles (hospitality or local accommodation preferred) Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Good physical condition (the role requires physical effort) Team spirit and positive attitude Availability to work weekends and holidays, if required
