Rode VideoMic Microphone

Description

Microphone delivers studio-quality recording with a supercardioid polar pattern, ideal for capturing directional sound. Designed for use with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and portable audio recorders. Features: Includes an integrated Rycote® Lyre® shock mount for vibration isolation and a foam windscreen to reduce wind noise. Connects via a 3.5 mm TRS (P2) cable. Powered by a 9V battery included with the purchase. The foam windscreen has a slight visible cut in the photos; unfortunately, it is very fragile and tore due to contact with another accessory. I purchased this microphone for use at certain types of events, but shortly afterward lost the client—i.e., I used it only about half a dozen times.
