Job Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Technician to manage the procurement process of materials and services, ensuring quality, deadlines, and cost optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for supplier management and negotiation **Volcalis \- Isolamentos Minerais, S.A.**, a construction-sector company within the Preceram Group, located in Bustos \- Oliveira do Bairro, is looking to strengthen its team with a Purchasing Technician (m/f). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, services, and equipment, maintaining a balance between quality and adherence to established deadlines. **Main Responsibilities:** * Managing the procurement process for materials and services, from requisition to receipt; * Researching and qualifying suppliers; * Negotiating prices, delivery times, and commercial terms; * Analyzing quotations and ensuring optimal quality-to-price ratio; * Placing and tracking purchase orders in the system; * Monitoring delivery schedules and liaising with suppliers; * Collaborating across departments (production, maintenance, etc.); * Supporting inventory management and consumption control; * Maintaining and updating the supplier database **Profile and Requirements:** * Degree in Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles (preferably in an industrial environment); * Strong negotiation and critical analysis skills; * Sense of responsibility, organization, and proactivity; * Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; * Knowledge of English; * Proficiency in computer tools (Excel). **What We Offer:** * Integration into a solid and growing company; * Opportunities for training and professional development; * Remuneration commensurate with demonstrated experience; * Company benefits currently in effect.
