Generic description of duties for the Senior Technician career/category: as stipulated in the Annex to the General Law on Public Employment (LTFP), approved by Law No. 35/2014 of 20 June, referenced in Article 88, paragraph 2, corresponding to functional complexity level 3 — “Consultative, research, planning, programming, evaluation, and application of technical and/or scientific methods and processes, which underpin and prepare decision-making. Independent or collaborative preparation of opinions and projects of varying complexity, and performance of other general or specialized support activities within the common, instrumental, and operational areas of competence of agencies and services. Duties performed with responsibility and technical autonomy, even if under qualified higher-level supervision. Representation of the agency or service in matters within its area of specialization, making technical decisions framed by directives or higher-level guidance.” 2\. Specific description of duties — Senior Technician — Civil Engineering — Ensuring municipal project development strictly according to requested terms and deadlines, and ensuring compatibility with current territorial management instruments, legislation, and legal regulations; Collaborating in the execution and supervision of municipal projects and works; Collaborating in preparing studies for improving and preserving natural resources, landscape arrangements, green spaces, and monitoring and supervising their implementation within publicly tendered works; Participating in project review commissions for works under the Division’s responsibility or externally prepared projects, composed of members appointed by order of the Municipal Council President or the Councillor with delegated or sub-delegated authority; Participating in municipal works reception commissions established within the Division’s scope of competence, composed of members appointed by order of the Municipal Council President or the Councillor with delegated or sub-delegated authority, tasked with conducting provisional and final receptions of municipally executed works carried out via public tender; Collaborating in drafting procedural programs and tender specifications for public works contracts, fully complying with applicable legislation; Collaborating in preparing all necessary documents to be annexed to procedures and to supplement information, specifically related to projects; Providing technical assistance for works execution whenever requested, aiming at proper execution and/or correct interpretation of projects; Monitoring execution of works carried out under agreements with Parish Councils and/or Associations; Performing any other duties, procedures, tasks, or responsibilities assigned by order or directive from higher authority within the scope of the incumbent’s work area. **Work Location** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Montemor-o-Velho Municipal Council 1 Praça da República Montemor-o-Velho 3140258 MONTEMOR-O-VELHO Coimbra Montemor-o-Velho **Total Number of Positions:**1 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**0
