The unit has been tested and reads CDs flawlessly, with stable operation and high-quality sound typical of Sony players in this range. This CD player is compatible with other models in the Sony LBT system series, making it an excellent option for replacement or to complete a classic hi-fi system. Reason for sale: Following a fire in the garage where the hi-fi system was stored, this CD player was the only component that remained undamaged. Since I no longer own the rest of the system, I have decided to sell it.
