As part of our operations, we are currently hiring nurses for our **NephroCare Santiago do Cacém clinic.**
**Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Nurse.**
As a dialysis nurse, you will support patients through essential treatments, ensuring safety, precision, and empathy. You will work closely with a dedicated healthcare team in a specialized environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. **Your responsibilities:**
* Monitor, assess, and follow up with patients throughout their entire treatment and stay at the clinic.
* Perform vascular access puncture, blood collection, medication administration, dialysis treatment, and other clinical procedures related to your area of practice.
* Prepare and deliver treatment using dialysis monitors and other technical equipment, ensuring proper functioning, hygiene, and safety according to established standards.
* Accurately record treatment data and adhere to medical prescriptions and internal protocols.
* Collaborate with the clinic’s multidisciplinary teams, support patient health education and health literacy, and assist in onboarding new colleagues.
* Perform other specialized technical and administrative tasks related to the role, aligned with current best clinical practices for patient care within the company.
**What we offer:**
* **Work-life balance:** Clinics are closed on Sundays, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day; daily closing time is 24:00 (except for clinics offering nocturnal long-dialysis).
* **Salary and Financial Incentives:**
* Annual Base Salary between €21,350 and €27,300
* Meal allowance of €2,509.54 per year
* Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary (paid proportionally across 12 months, based on attendance).
* Location allowance of €1,800 per year.
* "Refer a Colleague" bonus of €1,500 for each successfully hired nurse (employed under an employment contract) referred by our employees and retained by the company for a predefined period.

**We are looking for nurses with:**
* Nursing license issued by the Portuguese Nurses’ Association (Ordem dos Enfermeiros).
* Preferably at least 3 months of hemodialysis experience — possibility to complete specialized nursing training in hemodialysis.
* Initiative, dynamism, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team-oriented mindset and patient-centered focus.
* Technical nursing competencies, including use of technical tools, software, medical equipment, and Office applications (preferred).
* English language proficiency (preferred).
