Job Summary: We are seeking a live-in caregiver to accompany and provide care for an elderly bedridden woman, including hygiene, mobility assistance, feeding, medication administration, and domestic organization in Ovar. Sense of responsibility, empathy, and good communication We are looking for a live-in caregiver to accompany an elderly bedridden woman in Ovar. Responsibilities: Residing permanently at the elderly person’s residence Providing hygiene and comfort care Assisting with mobility Accompanying during meals Supervising and assisting with medication intake, as well as managing medications Organizing and cleaning the domestic space Preparing meals Providing nighttime support whenever necessary Accompanying on outings whenever necessary (shopping, errands, medical appointments, examinations, purchasing missing medications) Person Requiring Care: Dependent for hygiene and mobility Uses adult diapers Family support is available during daytime hours whenever possible Requirements: Proven experience in caring for bedridden elderly individuals (mandatory) Experience in domestic tasks and meal preparation Proficiency in reading and writing Portuguese (mandatory) Training or knowledge in nursing and/or geriatrics (preferred) Sense of responsibility, empathy, affability, understanding, patience, and strong communication skills Providing personal care with respect and dignity Valid driver’s license (preferred) Offered: Accommodation in a single room Inclusion of general family-style meals Days off to be arranged (4 days off per month) Remuneration commensurate with experience (€850–€1,100 net/month, depending on experience) Interested candidates should send a message detailing their professional experience and telephone contact.
