In fact, the Scooba's washing system is more effective than using a conventional bucket and mop, as dirty water is collected and not returned to the floor (thus avoiding simply "spreading dirt"). The Scooba 450 uses iAdapt navigation technology, which employs multiple sensors to ensure efficient navigation and thorough cleaning; it can wash up to 28 m² of floor before requiring a refill.
