We are seeking a Financial Controller to join Highgate Hotels in Portugal, located in Albufeira, Algarve. **Challenges you’ll love:** * Prepare the annual budget for hotel operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives * Develop monthly forecasts and prepare the month\-end closing process * Perform detailed revenue and cost control analyses to support financial performance * Analyze profitability across different departments and business units * Monitor payroll expenses and conduct regular variance and trend analyses * Prepare monthly statistics and reports * Upload data and perform analysis using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) * Ensure all reporting is prepared in accordance with USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to the role and ensure full compliance **What you need to shine in this role:** * Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Financial Controller or similar role * Previous experience in international hospitality environments, with solid knowledge of USALI reporting standards * Strong systems proficiency, including SAP S/4HANA, Opera, Micros Simphony, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (preferred) * Fluent in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments * Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization capabilities * Analytical mindset with a proactive, detail\-oriented approach to problem\-solving * Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment **The benefits of joining our team:** * Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and performance * Exclusive employee advantages and discounts across Highgate hotels * Opportunities for continuous learning, career development, and internal progression within an international hospitality group Localização: Distrito / District: Faro, Concelho / Municipalities: Albufeira
