Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to identify and resolve equipment failures, supervise machine operation, and manage the technical team, with a focus on reliability, performance, and continuous process improvement. MMC is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor (M/F) – Penela, Coimbra Main Responsibilities: * Identify root causes of failures in machines and equipment and implement long-term technical solutions focused on reliability and performance. * Supervise the proper operation of machines, mechanical and electrical systems, motors, sensors, generators, and other critical assets. * Manage the maintenance technical team to ensure high-quality work execution and compliance with technical and safety standards. * Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize maintenance routines to enhance system performance and efficiency. * Respond promptly to equipment failures or malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution and recording root causes. * Ensure technical training to maintain the team’s competencies up-to-date with operational requirements and safety standards. Requirements: * Residence in the Coimbra District or surrounding areas (mandatory) * More than 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a factory environment, with in-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated maintenance. * Additional skills in building maintenance, carpentry, welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc. (highly valued). * Experience in implementing and managing preventive, corrective, and continuous maintenance programs. * Flexibility to resolve issues outside normal working hours and on weekends.
