Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Supervision and Control Engineer to technically represent the investor, ensuring investment optimization in projects located in Portugal and Cape Verde. Coordination of material importation and licensing **We are hiring: Construction Supervision and Control Engineer** This is not a conventional site engineer role. This is the investor’s technical representative — the professional who ensures that **every euro invested delivers the promised outcome.** Active projects in Portugal and Cape Verde include residential villas, multifamily buildings, and rehabilitation works. **What You Will Ensure:** * Mandatory on-site presence during critical phases: concrete pours, waterproofing, foundations * Project coordination across disciplines: architecture/structure/M&E/water/electricity — zero on-site conflicts * Measurement certificates validated in situ prior to any contractor payment * Material receipt: quantity, quality, and certificates — all verified * Cost-benefit solutions: proactive research into optimal technical alternatives * Coordination of material importation from China: suppliers, technical datasheets, shipping * Post-construction warranty management: defect follow-up until resolution * Detailed schedule and weekly control — full visibility for the investor * Procedure manuals developed for residential construction, building projects, and renovations **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * On-site technical supervision + presence during critical construction phases * Analysis and coordination of projects (architecture/structure/specialties) * Validation of measurement certificates and technical approval prior to payments * Detailed planning (ClickUp/Notion/MS Project) with weekly deadline tracking * Cost tracking map: forecast vs. committed vs. paid — updated regularly * Research into cost-benefit solutions and optimized technical alternatives * Coordination of material importation from China * Receipt and quality control of critical orders * Municipal licensing: submission, follow-up, and inspections * Construction warranty management and post-handover defect follow-up * Development of procedure manuals for all types of construction projects **WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU** * Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering * 3+ years in construction supervision or technical management, with a proven portfolio * MS Project / ClickUp / Notion, advanced Excel, AutoCAD (reading only) * Knowledge of REH, RJUE, construction standards, and municipal licensing regulations * Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects * Technical authority with contractors — zero tolerance for unjustified deviations * Availability for travel within Portugal and to Cape Verde **Applications:** Send your CV + portfolio via email with subject line **Construction Engineer 2026_BBA** Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: €1,250.00 – €2,500.00 per month Benefits: * Company car * Meal card/ticket * Company mobile phone Work Location: On-site
