Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Supervision and Control Engineer—the investor’s technical representative—to ensure delivery of the promised results for projects in Portugal and Cape Verde. Proactive research into cost-effective and optimized solutions **We are hiring: Construction Supervision and Control Engineer** This is not a conventional site engineer role. This professional acts as the investor’s technical representative—the individual who guarantees that **every euro invested delivers the promised result.** Active projects in Portugal and Cape Verde include residential villas, multi-family buildings, and rehabilitation works. **What You Will Ensure:** * Mandatory on-site presence during critical phases: concrete pours, waterproofing, foundations * Project coordination across disciplines: architecture/structure/HVAC/water/electrical—zero conflicts on site * Measurement certificates validated on-site prior to any contractor payment * Material reception: quantity, quality, and certifications—all verified * Cost-benefit solutions: proactive identification of optimal technical alternatives * Coordination of material imports from China: suppliers, technical specifications, shipping * Post-construction warranty management: defect follow-up until resolution * Detailed schedule and weekly control—the investor sees everything * Procedure manuals developed specifically for villa, building, and renovation construction **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * On-site technical supervision + presence during critical construction phases * Analysis and coordination of projects (architecture/structure/specialties) * Validation of measurement certificates and technical approval prior to payments * Detailed planning (ClickUp/Notion/MS Project) with weekly deadline tracking * Cost tracking map: forecasted vs. committed vs. paid—up-to-date * Research into cost-benefit solutions and optimized technical alternatives * Coordination of material imports from China * Reception and quality control of critical orders * Municipal licensing: submission, monitoring, and inspections * Management of construction warranties and post-handover defect follow-up * Development of procedure manuals for all types of construction works **WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering * 3+ years in construction supervision or technical management with a proven portfolio * MS Project / ClickUp / Notion, Advanced Excel, AutoCAD (reading ability) * Knowledge of REH, RJUE, construction standards, and municipal licensing procedures * Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects * Technical authority with contractors—zero tolerance for unjustified deviations * Availability for travel within Portugal and to Cape Verde **Applications:** Send your CV + portfolio via email with subject line **Construction Engineer 2026_BBA** Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: €1,250.00 – €2,500.00 per month Benefits: * Company car * Meal card/ticket * Company mobile phone Work Location: On-site
