Execution of elementary support tasks essential to the functioning of agencies and services, which may involve physical effort. With functional complexity level 1, these functions include manual tasks related to: general and preventive forestry, fuel management in forest areas, using manual, motorized, mechanical, or controlled-burn techniques, among others; maintenance of forest stand protection, within forest management and control of harmful biotic agents; maintenance and improvement of forest defense infrastructure and support for forest management; simple awareness-raising activities for the population regarding forest protection conduct norms, particularly concerning fire use, forest cleaning, and phytosanitary practices; surveillance, initial intervention in rural fires, support in firefighting and mop-up operations, and active post-mop-up surveillance, within civil protection; installation and maintenance of primary and secondary forest fire defense networks; rural fire suppression; recovery of burnt areas and emergency stabilization, and other specialized actions within forest management. Performance of executive functions of a manual or mechanical nature, carried out within defined general guidelines and possibly requiring physical effort. Includes execution of essential tasks for the normal operation of municipal services, notably cleaning and maintenance of public spaces. Encompasses waste and residue removal, street sweeping and washing, cleaning of septic tanks, soakaways, gutters, and other urban areas, as well as vegetation and weed control along road verges, roads, and areas under parish jurisdiction. Also covers conservation and cleaning of municipal cemeteries, ensuring their proper condition and operation. The worker is responsible for equipment used, ensuring appropriate usage, maintenance, and minor repairs whenever necessary. In the forestry domain, includes general and preventive forestry activities, forest fuel management, and stand maintenance, using manual, motorized, mechanical, or controlled-burn techniques. Also includes monitoring and control of harmful biotic agents, maintenance of forest defense infrastructure, and support for forest management. Furthermore, entails simple awareness-raising activities targeting the population on forest protection matters, especially regarding fire use, forest cleaning, and good phytosanitary practices.
