Each game consists of three rounds in which players select cards from their hands to build their realm. Each card belongs to one of five suits and also features a scoring objective. Once all cards have been drafted for the round, players tally their points based on the suits of cards they collected and the scoring objectives on each card, then record their score. In each round, players select one card to keep in their realm as a "relic of the past" to aid them in subsequent rounds. After three rounds, the player with the most prosperous realm wins.
