What will you do? * Design and develop cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. * Implement scalable and secure cloud solutions, ensuring high availability and high performance. * Integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between back-end services and external/front-end systems. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Implement and manage applications through CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. * Monitor, diagnose, and optimize application performance in cloud environments. * Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection requirements. * Write clean, sustainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. * Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and promoting knowledge sharing within the team. * Stay up to date with new GCP features, the Java ecosystem, and cloud best practices. What are we looking for? * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. * 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with GCP. * Proficiency in Java (mandatory); knowledge of Python is a plus. * Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, and BigQuery. * Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build. * Good understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira is an advantage. * Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively. * Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and value delivery. * Availability for short international trips when necessary. * Team spirit, customer orientation, and strong analytical thinking. * Communication skills in English (B2 level or higher) – French is a plus.
