Carry out elementary support tasks essential to the functioning of organs and services, which may involve physical effort. Be responsible for equipment under one's custody and for its proper use, performing maintenance and repair when necessary. Cultivate flowers, trees, or other plants and sow lawns in public parks or gardens, being responsible for all operations inherent to the normal development of cultivation and its maintenance and conservation; carry out cleaning and conservation of streets and flowerbeds; where plant nurseries exist, cultivate seeds, bulbs, rootstocks, shrubs, trees, and flowers outdoors or in greenhouses for propagation, preparing nurseries, staking them, and appropriately arranging them; likewise perform sowing, planting, transplanting, grafting, watering, protection against adverse weather, and phytosanitary treatments, and potentially conduct trials to develop new plant varieties; operate various tools required for gardening tasks, which may be manual or mechanical; be responsible for cleaning, tuning, and lubricating mechanical equipment; perform minor repairs and arrange for major repairs when necessary; be responsible for equipment under one's custody and for its proper use, performing maintenance when necessary.
