Location: Mercedes-Benz Portugal, S.A., Sintra Start Date: Immediately Publication Date: 12/11/2025 Job ID: MER0003VNI Working Hours: Full-time Responsibilities Mercedes-Benz Portugal, through the Data Operations Hub (DOH), is seeking a Domain & Process Expert (Athena 2.0) for a 2-year fixed-term contract. Athena 2.0 is the current reporting suite for European markets in Model D. This position bridges the gap between Process Owners, System Owners, and Business Owners. As the Domain & Process Expert for Athena 2.0, you will analyze operational sales requirements from market- and HQ-based stakeholders, align them with system and process specifications, and refine them for technical implementation into the Athena 2.0 data products/data model and reporting environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contribute to a cross-functional, international team of domain & process experts. Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving strategic goals and developing specialized in-house knowledge. * Conduct analysis of the system and data landscape across European markets. * Align business/system blueprints with data and reporting requirements—from HQ down to sales consultants. * Identify optimal data sources for business KPIs and reports, ensuring data consistency and standardization. * Maintain close alignment with system owners & process designers, as well as business owners at HQ and in local markets. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Support data product & reporting rollouts—including trainings—for top management down to operational teams across European markets and agent/dealer groups. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: * University degree in business or technology. * Solid understanding of agile frameworks, e.g., SAFe. * Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Databricks or similar tools. * Fluent English. * Experience working in cross-functional teams within Data Analytics/Management, Process Design, or System Design in an international context. * Experience collaborating with global operational stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds. * Sales and retail experience required; prior experience in Mercedes-Benz markets—especially in sales management & sales steering within Model D—is highly beneficial. * Experience with systems/processes such as OTR, Cesar, Poseidon or similar, plus familiarity with the Model D sales blueprint. * Ability to translate business processes and business needs into technical requirements.
