Description

HOTAS Warthog in its original box. It is used and has been around for quite a few years, but it remains fully functional and has undergone several maintenance procedures performed by me over time. The throttle has been upgraded with the Slew mini-stick from Delta-Sim Electronics. Included are the original slew stick and the optional component from the Delta-Sim kit. Points to note: minor cosmetic paint flaws; regarding functionality, the hat switch designated as CMS (right thumb) tends to stick and does not return to center without assistance. This is not an issue in most simulation scenarios, especially if you develop the habit of manually resetting it. However, hobbyists are available who can supply replacement hat switches. On the throttle, the original friction pads have been replaced with Teflon strips delivering identical performance. The original rubber pads degrade after prolonged use—a known design flaw of these HOTAS units. Nevertheless, my repair is excellent: throttles slide smoothly with precision and without "stickiness", while retaining full functionality of the tension adjustment.
