We are looking for a **.NET Tech Lead** to join our company on one of our projects in the **insurance** sector, located in **Porto**. As the .NET Tech Lead, you will design scalable and robust solutions, establish REST API design standards—preferably using the Minimal APIs approach—ensuring consistency, performance, and security; translate functional requirements into technical specifications; mentor and guide team members; and promote best practices and knowledge sharing. **Responsibilities:** * Design and architect technical solutions based on .NET 6\.0 or later versions and SQL Server, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability. * Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, data models, and architecture designs. * Define REST API design standards, preferably using the Minimal APIs paradigm, ensuring consistency, performance, and security. * Establish and promote development best practices, coding standards, and cross-team technical guidelines. * Produce and maintain clear, rigorous technical and architectural documentation (diagrams, specifications, technical decisions). * Evaluate technology options and support architectural decisions by weighing cost, risk, and complexity trade\-offs. * Collaborate closely with development teams, business teams, and clients to ensure alignment between design and implementation. * Identify and anticipate technical risks, proposing mitigation solutions and strategies. * Oversee implementation to ensure developed solutions adhere to the defined design. * Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. **Requirements:** * Proven, solid experience in designing and architecting solutions using .NET 6\.0 or later and SQL Server. * Proficiency in software architecture and design patterns (e.g., layered architectures, microservices, event\-driven architecture, DDD). * Strong experience in designing REST APIs, including Minimal APIs, versioning, security, and observability. * Ability to model data and define integration strategies across systems. * Excellent ability to produce technical and architectural documentation. * Excellent communication skills with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients, including the ability to justify and defend technical decisions. * High sense of responsibility, autonomy, and critical thinking. * Technical leadership and team guidance capabilities. * Passion for teamwork and continuous learning. * Use of Artificial Intelligence tools to support solution design and development (e.g., GitHub Copilot or equivalents), applied critically to evaluate and validate generated suggestions. * Experience designing and integrating AI capabilities into software solutions (e.g., cognitive services, LLMs, RAG), including assessing their architectural impact. **Work Arrangement:** * Hybrid (3 days per week in the office). **We Offer:** * Unlimited access to Udemy; * 22 vacation days plus 3.5 tolerance days per year; * Health insurance.
