Location: Porto, Portugal Employment Type: Full-time | On-site | Rotating shifts **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and set up stage/scenic equipment, scenery, props, and musical instruments for concerts, performances, and events, in accordance with the technical team’s schedule; * Operate stage materials and systems during rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring correct technical execution of defined plans; * Configure and operate scenic machinery systems; * Execute scenic movements, stage setups, and teardowns, ensuring coordination and cooperation among different technical areas; * Participate in the setup of audiovisual productions from Casa da Música’s own programming; * Support external productions by providing technical assistance and collaborating with external teams; * Inspect and ensure the technical conditions of performance spaces, contributing to service quality delivered to artists, musicians, trainers, and clients; * Produce and organize technical documentation to support production planning and recording; * Participate in the maintenance, organization, and preservation of technical equipment and spaces, promoting safe and efficient working conditions; * Propose and collaborate on implementing technical solutions that contribute to continuous improvement of processes, outcomes, and the experience of artists, audiences, and partners. **Required Profile:** * Secondary or higher education, preferably in a professional training pathway related to Performing Arts; * At least 2 years of professional experience within the last 5 years, with emphasis on stage setup, operation, and technical management for performances, concerts, or events; * Knowledge of scenic machinery, stage equipment, and musical instruments; * Availability for variable working hours, including shift work and weekends; * Interest in and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams. **Also Valued:** * Knowledge of stage direction and technical communication systems operation; * Musical instrument training and/or study; * Experience in a cultural environment; * English language proficiency (technical level); * Organizational, planning, and technical problem-solving skills. **We Offer:** * Integration into an outstanding technical team; * A dynamic, collaborative, and artistically stimulating work environment; * The opportunity to participate in highly prominent cultural projects; * Direct contact with artists, resident ensembles, and national and international productions; * Contractual terms commensurate with demonstrated experience and competencies. **Join Casa da Música and contribute to delivering exceptional concerts, performances, and events as part of a leading technical team.** Job Type: Full-time Selection Question(s): * Are you available to work variable and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends?
