Job Summary: Metro do Porto is seeking an Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineer for the Rolling Stock area to contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of urban rail solutions. Integration into a leading company in the mobility sector Metro do Porto aims to strengthen its Operations Directorate by hiring an Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineer for the Rolling Stock area, contributing to the development, operation, and maintenance of highly reliable and safe urban rail solutions. **Main Responsibilities** * Participate in the development of urban rail transport solutions, including: o Rail vehicles o Rolling stock depot and workshops o Integration of vehicles into the metro system * Support the preparation of technical and functional specifications for systems. * Monitor rolling stock maintenance activities. * Develop, update, and analyze rolling stock performance KPIs. * Support the review of projects, functional specifications, and descriptive reports. * Provide on-site support for rolling stock maintenance activities. * Oversee manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and entry into service of new rolling stock. **Area of Activity** * Urban rail transport systems, with focus on rolling stock management and maintenance. Academic Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: o Electrical Engineering o Mechanical Engineering o Electromechanical Engineering o Industrial Engineering **Technical and Behavioral Competencies** * Good command of English language (minimum B2 level). * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Windows, Word, Excel, Project. * Knowledge of SolidWorks. * Autonomy and initiative * Willingness to grow in complex technological areas. **Also Valued** * Prior experience in railway rolling stock. **Offered:** * Integration into a leading company in the mobility sector; * Participation in strategic projects with regional impact; * Competitive salary commensurate with profile; * Current social benefits offered by the company.
