We are looking for a Floor Supervisor to join the team at our Porto property. About the position: The Floor Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring compliance with room00’s quality standards, team efficiency, and excellent presentation of guest rooms and public areas—contributing to an exceptional guest experience. What will your day-to-day look like? Your main responsibilities will be: • Coordinate and supervise the Housekeeping team. • Assign daily tasks and monitor their execution. • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation. • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality procedures. • Manage inventory of linens, amenities, cleaning products, and other consumables. • Coordinate with the laundry department and monitor linen control. • Report and follow up on maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution. • Manage lost-and-found procedures. • Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operational functioning. • Onboard, train, and support new team members. • Prepare staff schedules and assist in daily team management as needed. • Promote a positive, motivating, and results-oriented work environment. Candidate Profile Required Qualifications: Minimum compulsory education level (a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or Hotel Management is preferred). Experience: Minimum of 2 years in roles such as Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, or equivalent positions. Knowledge: • Advanced cleaning techniques and quality control. • Team management. • Inventory and stock management. • Laundry processes. • Hygiene, safety, and risk prevention regulations. • User-level computer skills (PMS and Microsoft Office proficiency are preferred).
