This vacancy could be for you!** This role is part of the Customs Department at DHL Express, reporting directly to Supervision. The GTW Customs team handles customs clearance for all shipments transported by DHL for import and export, ensuring timely delivery to customers with all customs formalities fully completed — in line with our commitments to business partners, the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT), and our customers. The role requires dynamism, perseverance, rigor, resilience, teamwork, and knowledge of customs legislation to clear all shipments requiring customs procedures at the Portuguese Customs Authority, within the shortest possible timeframe, while taking necessary actions to achieve this objective and guaranteeing excellence in service to our customers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform daily validation of cargo manifests to identify and timely classify shipments according to national customs authority requirements. * Prepare customs declarations and resolve related queries. * Maintain ongoing communication with customs authorities (customs agents) to resolve queries and process prepared declarations. * Analyze PPW documents, enter data into the system, and clarify queries raised by contact agents. * Timely preparation of corrections/revisions and handling of CAPs. * Provide administrative support to colleagues in OPS Customs and GTW Finance whenever required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade (preferred) * Proficiency in Portuguese and English * Knowledge of Portuguese legislation (preferred) * Familiarity with Office 365 * Customer orientation * Commitment to excellence * Resilience and assertiveness * Focus on achieving objectives * Fluent speech and strong argumentation skills * Active listening ability **Location:**Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, DHL Cargo Complex \- Maia
