A dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities for professional development. **ABOUT THE ROLE** ------------------ As the Assembly Quality Technician (M/F), you will join Preh Portugal (Trofa) to ensure compliance of assembly processes and fulfillment of customer-defined quality requirements. You will play an active role in early deviation detection, containment, and promoting continuous improvement in an industrial environment.**YOUR KEY CHALLENGES** ------------------------------------ * Monitor assembly processes, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and taking immediate action to identify and contain deviations * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyze defects, and identify root causes—including coordination with the quality laboratory * Support process changes, assess associated risks, and ensure proper execution of controls, audits, and rework follow-up * Manage incidents and complaints in SAP (QM), ensuring effective tracking and implementation of corrective actions * Monitor quality indicators and participate in operational meetings (RRR), promoting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with applicable standards **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM** ------------------------------ * Vocational secondary education or Level 5 qualification, preferably in a technical field, plus experience in quality or production environments * Proficiency with systems such as SAP (QM) and MS Office * Knowledge of technical drawing, basic electronics, and ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards is an advantage * Familiarity with quality tools (8D, root cause analysis, SPC) is an advantage * English proficiency is valued but not mandatory * Strong analytical skills, proactivity, critical thinking, and teamwork orientation **WHY JOIN PREH?** ------------------ * Join a global, innovative company and a leader in the automotive industry * Directly contribute to process improvement and final product excellence * A dynamic, collaborative, and continuous-improvement-oriented environment * Opportunities for professional development and internal growth **CONTACT** ----------- Eduardo Assunção, Tel.
