Manage transactional flows from international digital platforms. **Role Overview:** As an Accountant at DiRoots, you will be responsible for supervising our internal financial structure and day-to-day accounting operations. You will ensure full regulatory and tax compliance while simultaneously managing transactional flows across our digital platforms, supporting the smooth operation of our growing international business. We seek a talented and meticulous professional who wishes to grow with us and join this outstanding team, already a global reference in the AEC industry. **Location:** Guimarães (Portugal) or Hybrid. **Responsibilities:** * Review, validate, and officially sign the company’s financial statements and tax returns. * Manage general and analytical accounting workflows, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions (digital and traditional). * Prepare and submit all mandatory monthly and annual tax filings (VAT, IRC, IRS, Forms 10/22, IES, etc.) in full compliance with Portuguese legislation. * Supervise and reconcile digital payment flows, multi-currency invoicing, and subscription models. * Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and balance sheet reconciliations to support business strategy. * Coordinate and execute monthly payroll processing and related submissions to Social Security. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Active registration with the OCC (Order of Certified Accountants), with legal authority to sign financial statements in Portugal. * Solid experience and knowledge of the Portuguese Accounting Standards System (SNC) and Portuguese tax legislation. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation modeling. * Excellent organizational skills and strong understanding of modern financial workflows. * Proactive mindset in suggesting improvements to internal workflows and optimizing reports. * Professional proficiency in English. **Preferred Qualifications (non-eliminatory but valued):** * Experience with the accounting software **Moloni**. * Experience managing the **Stripe** payment gateway and reconciling its transactions. * Experience in accounting for technology companies, SaaS, or digital platforms. **Applications:** Applications must be submitted directly through our website.
