Opportunity for growth and career advancement MDS Group is hiring for the position of **Senior Procurement Manager**, based at its Porto office, with the mission to create and develop the procurement department from scratch, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and quality across the company’s acquisition processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Define and implement the organization's global procurement strategy * Build and structure the procurement department, including processes, policies, and tools * Manage and negotiate supplier contracts * Ensure procurement of goods and services, including: + Office supplies and consumables + Equipment and utensils + Travel and accommodation management (corporate travel and hotels) + Fleet vehicle management + Other general company services * Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains * Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements * Develop and manage relationships with strategic suppliers * Monitor procurement performance indicators (KPIs) **About You** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Economics, or a related field * Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably within service-oriented companies * Proven experience in establishing or transforming procurement departments/processes (strongly preferred) * Strong negotiation skills and strategic mindset * Experience in supplier and contract management * Autonomous, structured, and results-oriented profile * Excellent communication and influencing skills * Proficiency in procurement tools and MS Office **About Us** Founded in Portugal 40 years ago, our determination has consistently driven us further.
