Culture of continuous improvement #### **About the HSE and Quality Technician Role** **HSE and Quality Technician – Level IV / VI** ============================================== **Job Mission** -------------------- Reporting directly to the Quality, Environment and Safety Coordinator and integrated within the **Quality, Environment and Safety** department, the HSE and Quality Technician will be primarily responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and promotion of the **Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System (IQESMS)**. The role entails a strong operational and field-oriented component, ensuring compliance with the organization’s policies and objectives, applicable legal requirements, and current regulatory standards, thereby contributing to a culture of **prevention, safety, quality, environmental protection, and continuous improvement**. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Monitor and control processes associated with the Quality, Environment and Safety Management System in accordance with the standards **NP EN ISO 9001, NP EN ISO 14001, and NP EN ISO 45001**; * Support monitoring of the **RECAPE, DIA, and their respective Monitoring Plans**; * Monitor and analyze organizational performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement; * Support collection and processing of information regarding stakeholder satisfaction; * Participate in the management of **nonconformities, corrective actions, and improvement actions**; * Support oversight and monitoring of external companies acting on behalf of the organization, particularly concerning their potential environmental impacts and compliance with HSE requirements; * Monitor compliance with legislation applicable to the organization’s activities, with special emphasis on **Environment, Safety, Health, Hygiene, and Labor Relations**; * Monitor **occupational risk assessment processes**, and collaborate in planning and implementing preventive measures; * Collaborate in defining, scheduling, and implementing preventive and protective measures; * Support delivery of information and training activities for employees and other stakeholders at workplaces; * Promote consultation and participation processes involving employees on matters of Occupational Safety and Health; * Develop, monitor, and analyze area-specific indicators, contributing to continuous process improvement; * Collaborate in analyzing workplace conditions, work methods and organization, as well as in the selection and maintenance of work equipment; * Participate in analysis of causes of **occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and psychosocial risks**, proposing preventive and corrective measures; * Monitor **internal audits and inspections**, supporting follow-up on their findings; * Collaborate in meeting objectives, requirements, and procedures associated with the **IQESMS** implemented by the organization; * Ensure regular presence in the **field/operational environment**, promoting compliance with HSE requirements and adoption of good practices. **Profile and Requirements** ----------------------- * **Professional Title of Senior Occupational Safety and Health Technician (TSST)**; * Minimum of **3 years’ professional experience in similar roles**; * Experience in operational/field contexts; * Experience in **civil construction** or in similarly operational activities will be considered an asset; * Possession of a **Pedagogical Competence Certificate (CAP for Trainers)** will be considered an asset; * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**; * Solid knowledge of applicable legislation and Occupational Safety and Health standards; * Experience in **implementation, certification, and maintenance of Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems**, notably ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, will be considered an asset; * Ability to plan, organize, and monitor processes; * High degree of **rigor, responsibility, and confidentiality**; * Strong sense of fairness and ability to understand the organization from an integrated perspective; * **Proactive, dynamic, and problem-solving oriented profile**; * Good communication and teamwork skills; * Strong orientation towards the **field and operational reality**
