And we need talent like you to bring our vision to every food factory on earth. **The challenge** We're looking for an AI \& Automation Engineer to build the internal systems and AI\-powered workflows that will allow BRAINR to scale faster with fewer resources. As BRAINR grows, more teams, more customers, more complexity, we need someone who can make the entire company run smarter. Today, too many processes are manual, tools are disconnected, and automation is ad hoc. We need a dedicated builder who takes ownership of our Notion workspace, Make.com automations, AI tool stack, and operational data integrations, stitching everything together so that every team can do more, faster, with less. This is not a traditional software engineering role. You won't be writing production code for our product. Instead, you'll be the person who builds the intelligent operational layer of the company such as automating workflows, deploying AI tools, connecting data across systems, and continuously finding ways to eliminate manual work. You'll work across every team, understand their pain points, and ship solutions that make a real difference. But this isn't just about building things yourself. You'll also act as an enabling force across the company by coaching teams, creating playbooks, and supporting people so that every team can leverage AI and automation independently. You build, but you also teach and empower. If you love building things with AI tools, thrive on making processes better, and get energy from the idea that your work can make an entire company 2x more efficient, this is for you. **What you'll be doing** \- Own and continuously improve BRAINR's Notion workspace \- databases, templates, dashboards, and automations that power daily operations across all teams. * Build and maintain Make.com workflows that automate repetitive processes across the company (onboarding, reporting, notifications, data syncing, and more). * Experiment with, evaluate, and deploy AI tools (Lovable, Replit, GPT\-based agents, and others) to solve real business problems across Sales, CS, Engineering, HR, and Operations. * Own and build BRAINR's company data warehouse, and manage data ingestion from all operational systems. * Connect operational data across tools and the data warehouse into automated dashboards and pipelines. \- Act as the internal process engineer \- map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design automation\-first solutions. * Be the go\-to person for every team that needs a smarter, faster way to get things done. * Enable teams to build and maintain their own automations, coach team members, create playbooks, run training sessions, and provide hands\-on support so every team becomes self\-sufficient over time. * Document processes, automations, and tools so the company's operational knowledge scales with the team. **Requirements:** ----------------- **What we're looking for** * A software development background (Computer Software degree or equivalent) * A builder/doer who has side projects, maker hobbies, or a history of "I automated that" are great signals. \- Proven, hands\-on experience with AI tools \- Lovable, Replit, ChatGPT/GPT API, Cursor, Claude, or similar. You've actually built things with them, not just experimented casually. \- Notion power user \- you know databases, relations, rollups, formulas, templates, and automations inside out. \- Experience with Make.com or Zapier/n8n \- you've built real, multi\-step automations that run in production. * Some Python knowledge enough to write scripts, call APIs, and extend automations when no\-code tools aren't enough. * You're the person who's already tried the latest AI tool before anyone else has heard of it. * You can explain what you've built and why it matters to non\-technical teammates. * Fluency in English (spoken and written). * Bonus: SQL knowledge, experience with data visualization tools, familiarity with API integrations, startup experience. **Why BRAINR?** Quarterly Recognition Bonus celebrating top performance and impact.
