Description

We are selling our campervan, purchased in September 2023 with approximately 181,000 km. We collected it from the Algarve, completing a 350 km trip without any issues, proceeding directly to a mechanic for servicing. The service was thorough and preventive, involving replacement and inspection of several essential components, ensuring reliability and peace of mind during use (since it is a CamperVan, we do not want surprises while camping or in open environments). Key works carried out include: - Full service including engine oil and oil filter - Air filter and fuel filter - Alternator belt - Brake pump repair kit - Replacement of 2 steering boots - Replacement of 2 rear wheel bearings - Replacement of 4 spark plugs and distributor cap - Cooling system flush and replacement with new antifreeze (green) - Brake fluid replacement - New radiator - New thermostat (opens at 89°C, per Renault standard) - Replacement of 2 exhaust mounts - Gearbox oil change - Fan activation switch Additionally, a Trust brand battery (manufactured by Exide, excellent quality), new windshield wiper blades, and two speakers were installed. In 2024, as the van had only covered 2,549 km, an oil change was not required. The catalytic converter was replaced (due to rust; the original Renault unit was still fitted), the left front drive shaft was replaced (showing early signs of anomaly), four new tires were fitted, and the spare tire was replaced (it was the original). In August 2025, at 186,907 km, the following were replaced: - Engine oil and oil filter—only 5,000 km since the 2023 change (engine oil lasts at least 30,000 km, but as we were planning our first long trip and the cost is low, we requested the change) - Water pump (the original Renault unit was still in place) - Thermostat opening at 83°C—ideal for summer - New cooling system flush with fresh antifreeze (green). At every service visit, an inspection was performed; the vehicle remains up-to-date until September this year. We hold the full IMT inspection history (available upon viewing the vehicle). Although called a CamperVan, this is essentially a standard car—it requires no legalization because no modifications affect its classification; there are no alterations to its specifications, nothing is bolted to the bodywork, and all camper components were mounted on a primary wooden base structure, then assembled progressively above it (akin to simply carrying cargo in the trunk). This is a highly agile van, seating 5 people, with rear seats folding down twice—making it fully commercial. You get the best of both worlds: a daily-use car, and—if needed—a campervan, as the camper kit can be quickly disassembled to provide full cargo space.
