You will contribute to the design, implementation, and scaling of our new modern data platform, enabling analytics, BI, and future AI use cases across the organization. **Working alongside Data, BI, and business stakeholders, you will :** * Build and maintain reliable data pipelines using Databricks, dbt, Airbyte and Airflow. * Contribute to the architecture and modeling of our enterprise data foundation. * Develop high\-quality, well\-tested transformation logic, ensuring consistency and reusability. * Enable company\-wide BI by delivering trusted, documented, and performant datasets to analysts and product teams. * Optimize data workflows for scale, reliability, and cost efficiency. * Help define engineering standards, best practices, and documentation across the data platform. * Support onboarding and evangelization of modern data practices across the organization. **Qualifications** **You have:** * 3\+ years of experience in data engineering. * Hands\-on experience with modern data stack components. * Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling. * Familiarity with Python for data processing and pipeline orchestration. * Knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP), warehousing, and distributed data processing. * Good understanding of CI/CD, version control, and environment management for data workflows. * Experience working with BI teams and enabling analytics use cases. * A mindset focused on quality, reusability, and long\-term maintainability of data assets. **You are:** * Passionate about modern data engineering and motivated to help shape a scalable data platform. * Curious and eager to learn new tools \& technologies. * Comfortable collaborating with cross\-functional teams: BI developers, data analysts, IT teams, and business experts. * Proactive, autonomous, and able to propose improvements rather than just implement requirements. **Additional Information** **HR Policy** * **Unleash your potential** with our Ayming Academy and Ayming Digital Academy! * **Grow your career** with our tailored support programs, My Professional Journey or MoveWithUS. * **Work your way**: enjoy flexibility, inspiring and friendly spaces, with a hybrid work model. * **Connect and celebrate** through events and gatherings all year round (Webinars, “Coffee With” etc..) **Local Benefits** * Permanent contract * Fixed and variable salary * Coverflex card, allowing you to use your meal allowance (€10\.20/worked day) and access a wide range of flexible benefits * Transport reimbursement up to €40/month * Private health insurance (AdvanceCare) * Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday * 60% remote work per year * Modern open\-space office in Sete Rios, Lisbon * Career development opportunities in an international environment
