Duties of an executive nature, manual or mechanical in character, carried out within clearly defined general guidelines and varying degrees of complexity. Execution of elementary support tasks essential to the functioning of agencies and services, which may involve physical effort, including: a) Performing various maintenance and conservation operations on IST’s facilities within the field of civil construction, for example: * Roof maintenance; maintenance and cleaning of roof drainage systems; repair of claddings or waterproofing systems; * Masonry work using stone, brick, or concrete blocks, including respective plastering; * Installation of stonework; * Construction of walls and simple structures, with or without reinforcement, including assembly of simple reinforcement frameworks; * Application of wall and floor coverings using tiles and ceramic tiles of various existing materials, applying techniques appropriate to each tile type; * Painting; repairs to walls or ceilings; * General laying of Portuguese cobblestone pavements; * General carpentry work, including cutting and shaping, installation and repair of wooden components for buildings, works, sets, and furniture, or performing maintenance thereof; * Woodworking based on provided templates; sawing and planing parts, rough-shaping them, sanding and gluing materials, adjusting parts in a clamp; * Installation, assembly, and finishing of interior woodwork on construction sites, such as doors, skirting boards, windows, frames, staircases, wooden partitions, ceiling framing, and panelling; * Modification of components, transforming old structures into new ones and repairing them; * Installation and/or repair of wooden flooring: parquet, planks, cork; * Execution of other similar or complementary tasks as described above. b) Integration into a multidisciplinary team, implying necessary support to other specialties whenever required. **Work Location** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon 1 Avenida Rovisco Pais, no. 1 Lisbon 1049-001 LISBON Lisbon Lisbon **Total Number of Positions:**1 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**0
