Project: You will be working for our client, a leading financial services group within the banking industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and performance of web applications within the Distribution. Your expertise will support cutting\-edge digital solutions that impact millions of customers, offering a dynamic environment for career advancement and technical growth.
Role:
* Design, develop, and maintain end\-to\-end automated tests using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) to ensure high\-quality releases.
* Manage test cases, plans, and execution within Xray (Jira), ensuring complete traceability from requirements to defects.
* Perform manual exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications, defining and implementing test strategies for new features.
* Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts in both French and English to understand requirements and define clear acceptance criteria.
* Track, identify, and document bugs using Jira, facilitating efficient defect resolution. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable continuous feedback and testing cycles.
* Promote QA best practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to refining testing processes for ongoing improvement.
We are looking for:
* At least 8 years of experience in software testing, with strong hands\-on expertise in automation.
* Proven proficiency with Playwright (Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript) to develop robust automated tests.
* Practical experience managing tests within Jira using Xray.
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
* Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman or through Playwright.
* Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
* Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
* Experience with Behavior\-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber/Gherkin.
* Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like k6 or Playwright\-based testing.
