Support fertigation operations Irrigation Operator (m/f) Location: Almeirim Sector: Agriculture Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are seeking a professional responsible for managing and carrying out field irrigation operations, ensuring system efficiency and proper water supply to crops. The role includes monitoring, operating, and performing basic maintenance of irrigation systems. Responsibilities Operate irrigation systems. Adjust schedules, flow rates, and pressures according to crop requirements. Inspect irrigation lines to identify leaks, blockages, or malfunctions. Clean filters and valves, and perform minor maintenance tasks. Record irrigation durations, water consumption, and incidents. Support fertigation operations where applicable. Comply with safety regulations and good agricultural practices. Mandatory Requirements Prior experience in agriculture or operation of irrigation systems. Training or certification in irrigation systems (preferred). Valid Certificate for the Application of Phytopharmaceutical Products, if the role involves fertigation or product application. Basic knowledge of hydraulics (pressure, flow rate, operation of irrigation lines). Ability to identify simple technical issues. Responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
