Summary: The QA Engineer will ensure software quality and reliability through test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting in an agile environment. Highlights: 1. Work with Cloud/AWS, Kafka, Redshift, and various testing tools. **ROLE SUMMARY** The QA Engineer will contribute in our test activity and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software in an agile manner. His/her main missions are: * Test planning and Design: + Develop, document and maintain test plans and test cases + Collaborate with business analyst and developers to understand requirements and define testing strategies * Testing Execution: + Perform manual testing for each new delivered IDS version to identify defects and ensure software meets requirements. + Performance testing for some features of the software * Defect Management: + Identify and track defects using Jira + Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues * Documentation and Reporting + Create detailed test reports and metrics to communicate test result and quality status + Alert potential risks and propose improvement solutions He/she will work in the following technical environment; Cloud /AWS, KAFKA, Talend, Amazon Redshift Database, Linux, Protocol FIX/SBE for markets messages processing. And will have at his/her disposal the following technical tools ; Jenkins, Git, Jira , dbeaver , Pandas and internal testing tools * **Key accountabilities** This role is a high profile and exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive experimented QA Engineer to be at the heart of data testing activity. The role of the QA Engineer is to deliver software versions without issue and to ensure a better coverage. This includes the following responsibilities: + Doing specification review to identify issues earlier in the project life cycle. + Writing functional test cases under TC Repository testing tool(XRAY). + Test and validate manually new features. + Collaborating in agile mode with the Developer / Business Analyst /Project Manager to ensure the respect of QA Integration /Pre\-Production and Production deadlines. + Writing QA reports and Test Plans. + Supporting business team and investigating Production incidents. + Assuring the quality of the software delivered versions. + Respecting QA good practices (a clear description of test cases, clear reports and bugs/incidents analysis). + Contributing in the creation of QA Team Wiki. **Education \& knowledge** * Engineering or development school. * Fluent in written and verbal English. Fluency in French is a nice to have. * Bigdata testing ( Parquet files, step function, S3 storage, redshift query). **Experience** * 3\-5 years experience in test automation and big data cloud application testing. * Proficiency with test management tools(XRAY , JIRA , SQL client ) * Understanding of agile methodologie
