Job Summary: We are seeking a Chainsaw Operator (M/F) for tree felling and cutting, limbing, bucking, and timber preparation, while complying with safety regulations for forestry operations and supporting field activities. Permanent employment contract (indefinite-term) VilaMadeiras, Comércio de Madeiras, Lda., a Portuguese company with over 30 years of experience in the forestry sector, headquartered in Vila Chã de Sá, Viseu, is currently recruiting for the following position: CHAINSAW OPERATOR (M/F) Responsibilities: – Performing tree felling and cutting using a chainsaw; – Limbing, bucking, and preparing timber for dispatch; – Complying with safety regulations for forestry operations; – Supporting field operations in coordination with the team. Requirements: – Proven experience as a chainsaw operator (mandatory); – Knowledge of best safety practices for chainsaw operations; – Availability to work outdoors and in forested areas. Preferred Qualifications: – Professional certification in forestry or chainsaw operation; – Valid driver's license (Category B); – Personal transportation means for commuting to the workplace.
