Selling PHILIPS AF 977 turntable, manufactured between 1978 and 1981. This was an advertisement I had previously posted, but since I have now acquired a lid in better condition (photos 6, 7, and 8), the listing is updated accordingly. There are minor scratches; otherwise, the turntable shows only slight marks. Regarding functionality, it operates acoustically with a new stylus. Two anomalies: the tonearm should automatically return at the end of the record but does not; and manual lifting of the tonearm using the small lever also fails to work. Everything else functions properly, including automatic placement of the tonearm at the beginning of the record, speed control, etc. Fixed price: €180. Text taken from the internet: - Features an integrated system for monitoring tonearm pressure on the stylus tip, 33/45 rpm switching, automatic start/stop (with tonearm return), and anti-skating. -Wow and flutter: 0.05%. - Controls are touch-sensitive (except for lowering/raising the tonearm). Two speed control modes are available: automatic (using quartz and PLL), or manual via two potentiometers allowing slight adjustment of platter rotation speed. A four-digit, seven-segment red LED display indicates speed in rpm. As mentioned above, fixed price—no discounts, whether purchasing one item or several.
